Inauguration of the new Sommerberg funicular railway
For more than 100 years, the Sommerberg Funicular Railway, the highest funicular railway in Baden-Württemberg, has connected the center of Bad Wildbad with the Sommerberg. After an impressive complete renovation in 2011, it is now one of the most modern funicular railways in the whole of Germany.
